I met Mihaela, the founder and deft hands of SHTOICA, a couple of months ago in Nice when I was invited to visit her workshop. I must say I was impressed by her savoir-faire and the mix of very pure lines and a slavic influence.

J’ai rencontré Mihaela, la créatrice de SHTOICA il y a quelques mois à Nice dans son atelier. J’y ai découvert ses créations et son savoir-faire, un mélange étonnant de lignes très pures et d’une influence slave.

The lines are very feminine and made to fit a woman, it puts emphasis on the waist and the silhouette. The materials are noble cotton, silk or fine wool, the patterns are colored.

L’accent est mis sur la féminité, la silhouette et la taille en particulier. Les matières sont nobles du coton, de la soir et de la laine fine, quand aux imprimés ils sont colorés.

I fell in love with this particular dress and its pouch/belt that highlights the waist. You can find Mihaela’ creations in several shops in the South of France or order directly from her and meet her at her workshop for a custom made feel.

J’ai eu un coup de coeur pour cette robe simple mais colorée et par l’originalité de la pochette-ceinture qui souligne la taille. Les créations de Mihaela sont dans plusieurs magasins sur la Côte mais vous pouvez aussi simplement la rencontrer à son atelier et avoir une robe ‘faite sur mesure’.
